The inspiration for Barollo’s handcrafted Italian leather Chelsea boot came from a Beatles recording session at the famed Abbey Road Studios in England. During a break, John Lennon was relaxing on a sofa, wearing a pair of black Chelsea boots. These boots were effortless, cool and on point.
Barollo’s Chelsea Boot is designed to capture that spirit in modern form, taking the cue from the original Fab Four and carrying it forward.
The Chelsea boot is made from the finest brushed Italian leather, resulting in a superior luster, which if cared for properly, should last a lifetime. The soles are 100-percent handmade in Italian leather with a classic welt, which is stitched to the upper using the more refined Blake construction method. The zipper hardware is all metal and plated in a black-platinum alloy, giving it a deep, smoky-mirrored effect. The lining is 100-percent Italian leather and finished in a rich, sapphire blue. Red is shown in the pictures, however we will be using a sapphire blue to complement the hand pained sapphire blue sole
